Coffee should be brewed / extracted at a temperature between 190F and not exceeding 194F. Why: The reason for is that more heat above 194F destroys the flavor of the coffee. Almost all automatic coffee brewer are not capable to control the brewing temperature, but we found one. Furthermore, the pulse brewing and pre-soaking features - if available - copy the old fashioned Grandma way of brewing coffee which you can execute by using a filter cone (gold, stainless steel or paper filter) and a kettle: Pour first a little bit water on the ground so it can rise and start the brewing process. After a minute pour water over in smaller doses until done.
