Iced coffee and cold brew coffee, what is the difference:
Iced coffee is hot extracted coffee ground either regular coffee or espresso coffee. Chilled down and blended with ice. Added cold milk, or flavors at the sole discretion of the coffee lover. Advantage: Quick to the fullest, see recipe below. Disadvantage, flavorwise not as good as cold brew dripper coffee.
Cold Brew coffee is "brewed" cold without temperature. We only recommend the dripper method: Iced water drops over hours into the filter chamber filled with ground coffee and gets released by passing through the coffee ground into the jar underneath. Advantage: Beautiful flavor. Disadvantage, needs time (unattended) to "brew".
For the quick iced coffee, we use the Ascaso espresso capsule machine or any other espresso point machine as well as nespresso machines. One or two shots in a glass, 4-6 ice cubes thrown in, basta. Add cold milk, flavors or what so ever comes in your mind and enjoy it!
