Product Description

What is is about?

A group (E61) that made the history of the Espresso, enabling to brew the best possible espresso at home as well as in the bars. In this machine, the most compact of its category, you get a technology refined in time, regulation possibilities and prestigious, heavy-duty materials. Elegance and quality for the barista in you!

  • Stainless steel body
  • Dual pressure gauge - Top part measures boiler pressure (0 - 4 bar). Bottom part measures pump pressure (0 - 16 bar).
  • Separate indicator lights - Left light is for power to indicate the machine is powered on. Right light is for the heating element to indicate when the heating element is energized: Gauge and light helps you to determine when you can steam milk.
  • Multi-directional, no burn steam and no burn hot water wand.
  • Professional grade portafilter 58 mm diameter as all E61 brewing groups
  • Adjustable over pressure valve.
  • Water reservoir has a two stage shut off. One shut off is for when removing the reservoir. The second shut off is a magnetic float to power off the heating element when the reservoir is low on water.
  • Manual resettable safety thermostat on top of boiler.
  • Famous E61 thermosyphon grouphead based on the thermosyphon system. It operates on the principal of convection. Water in the heat exchanger tube is heated by conduction from the hot water and steam in the boiler. Heated water becomes less dense and so it is just a bit lighter and it rises (heat rises- think hot air balloon). The hot water rises and goes to the top of the heat exchanger and into the upper thermosyphon pipe. It gets to the brewhead and there it transfers its heat energy to that mass of meta which heats the group. The water, losing its heat energy, cools and becomes a bit heavier and "sinks." This cooler water moves downward into the lower thermosyphon pipe and moves back to the heat exchanger. As this convection current continues the water moves in this circular path, picking up more heat energy each time it passes through the heat exchanger and losing it when it reaches the brewgroup. - hot water circulates from the heat exchanger through the grouphead and back to keep the grouphead to keep your portafilter nice and hot.
  • 1.4 liter copper boiler, insulated on side, with heat exchanger and thermo-siphon double cycle,s see topic above about E61.
  • PID temperature programming allows user to change boiler temperature through the use of the digital display/control panel on the front panel of the machine. The display reads out the current temperature of the coffee boiler.
  • Internal pipes in copper.
  • Extremely low feet to create a very low profile.
  • Power plug completely removable from machine.
  • Accessories: Instructional manual, dual spout portafilter with 2-cup basket, cheap plastic tamper, plastic scoop, and blind filter basket/insert
