Filter with a Twist
Cup of coffee with with a tasty twist sip by sip
Ingredients:
- High texture orange juice with pulp
- high texture chocolate sauce/syrup
- Coconut sugar
- Chilled Filter Coffee
How to make it:
- Take three plates, put on one plate orange juice, one chocolate sauce, and one coconut sugar
- Roll your cup's rim in orange juice, or chocolate sauce, half rim orange, half rim chocolate sauce.
- Roll the entire rim in the coconut sugar and chill the cup
- Add filter coffee
- If the filter coffee is not strong enough for you, you can spike it with a chilled espresso shot
Annotation:
Filter coffee is best brewed with a filter cone and hot water at 192F. Alternatively on a certified coffee drip brewer like the OXO or Behmor drip coffee brewer, capable of adjusting down the brewing temperature to a value below 194F.
We use Moka Jenne 1878, a very fine, very light roast, or Manaresi drip coffee with light notes of hazelnut and cocoa in the backyard, or more strong but excellent balanced the Danesi filter coffee. Moka Jenne and Manaresi are roasted in the Tuscany region close to Florence, Danesi comes from Rome.
