The cup size is an Italian one: 8 ounces
Made out of heavy ceramic so you can preheat the cups on your cup warmer on top of your espresso machine, or you can use your hot water outlet on your espresso machine to preheat.
In either way, be assured that your espresso shot stays hot after extraction until you sip it.

Worth the Hunt
While vacationing in Duluth, Minnesota and dining at a restaurant overlooking Lake Superior, I was served a cup of Danesi coffee in one of these cups with my dessert. That cup of coffee was as memorable as many of the amazing things we experienced on the North Shore. The hunt was on for an authentic version of that cup and saucer. I was thrilled to find it at Italian Bean Delight. The cup fits perfectly in my hand and the thick walls keep my beverage steaming hot. My mother is now in love with my cups and saucers. Guess what she's getting for Christmas?
